From the looks and sounds of things on the night, the annual quiz was once again enjoyed by all. Thank you to everyone who came on the night or helped arrange it. It was a wonderful success, at the end of the night we raised £853.75 profit for the Playgroup.
These funds raised are going towards some new equipment:-
- a new outside storage unit (the current one has had it – broken door, broken hinge, broken shelf!!!)
- a new rug for the children’s reading area (the room needs some more soft furnishings since the new flooring was laid)
- a new information board for the parents/carers (so we can make use of the current blue plastic easel for the children)
- a new bookshelf
From the Playgroup Committee we would like to say a HUGE “Thank you” to Sam who has been our fundraising chair for the past few years. You’ve done a marvelous job to ensure that we have the extras funds to buy new equipment for the children and team to enjoy.
