• Monday to Friday : morning session : 9.00 till 11:30

How much does it cost?

Each session at playgroup costs £8.75.

When can my child attend?

The playgroup caters for up to 20 children per session from the age of 2 years and 9 months.  Subject to availability your child will be offered 5 sessions (at 2.5 hours per session) per week.  Parents/carers will have the opportunity to choose how many sessions, and what days your child attends.  The administrator coordinates the requirements of all parents/carers, term by term, and where ever possible aims to provide parents’ first preference.

When will my child be eligible for a free early education place?

A child becomes eligible for a free place from 1 September, 1 January or 1 April following their third birthday.  Please take note that Herts County Council have a clear procedure which dictates when children are eligible for this. The administrator will apply for this funding on your behalf.

How to Apply

At the moment, the waiting list is at capacity, we expect to be able to receive new applicants by January 2011. At that time, if you would like your child to be on the waiting list, either apply online or just follow these easy steps:

1. Application Form
2. Fill it in
3. Deliver to our Administrator Dawn – via post or simply drop it into the school office

Upon receipt of your application form, Dawn will confirm to you in writing that you are on the waiting list and enclose an information leaflet.   You will be contacted again about two months before the term your child is due to start (children start when they are  2 years 9 month old).  Then all you need to do is

1. Confirm that you definitely still want the place
2. Send off a £10 deposit
3. Let us know if you can make the Induction Day

Once this is all in place Dawn will send you a copy of our Welcome Pack with everything and anything you need to know about Bengeo Playgroup.
