We are currently recruiting for an Inclusion Co-ordinator/ Key Person and a Key Person.
The start date for both roles is expected to be 3rd September 2012.
The closing date for applications is 1st June 2012
Inclusion co-ordinator/ Key Person: Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for a caring, self-motivated person who loves working with children to join our friendly team and lead us in supporting and including children with learning difficulties and disabilities in the mainstream group. As well as acting as Key Person to a small group of children, the role involves modelling integrated practice by working in partnership with fathers/mothers/carers and liaising closely with agency professionals. You may be required to attend home visits or professionals meetings and if 1:1 care is necessary, appoint and manage a Learning Support Assistant.
Qualifications Required: Children and Young Person’s Workforce, or equivalent
Level Required: Level 3
Key Person: Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for a caring, self-motivated person who loves working with children to join our friendly team and act as a Key Person to look after a small group of children. This includes supporting their learning, development and welfare by working under the four principles of the EYFS to ensure individual needs are recognised and met. Key responsibilities include:
- To establish a positive relationship with key children and their respective families
- To observe the children at play and record brief notes so that their interests and needs can be transferred into the short term planning
- To create and maintain Individual Learning Journey books
- To work within the team to create a welcoming, safe and stimulating environment
- To actively participate in self-evaluation schemes such as Ofsted S.E.F. and HQS
Qualifications Required: Children and Young Person’s Workforce, or equivalent
Level Required: Level 3
