It is easy to assume that everyone knows the jargon, so here are a few explanations for when we forget to clarify them.
Staff work to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the learning & development section of this curriculum is divided into six areas of learning as explained below:
- PSE = personal, social & emotional development
- CLL = communication, language & literacy development
- KUW = knowledge & understanding of the world development
- CD = creative development
- PD = physical development
- PSRN = problem solving, reasoning & numeracy
