Bengeo Playgroup a limited company (Registered in England and Wales (number 7003718). It is a non-profit organisation, registered charity (number 1134075) . It relies solely on donations and monies raised from fundraising activities and events to buy new resources and equipment for the children.

Fundraising Committee
The Fundraising committee comprises of current and past playgroup parents who are interested in supporting the playgroup and improving provisions and facilities for their own and future children. We really need and welcome new members.
Anyone with interest (Parents, Grandparents, Carers etc.) can join and we meet as needed with meetings being more frequent in the run up to a bigger event. Some members dip in and out throughout the year depending on other demands on their time.
We meet occasionally at one of our houses with the children in tow or in the pub in the evening over a glass of wine or two! As a team we share the load, taking on responsibilities which enable events to go ahead successfully and smoothly. We have great fun in the process!
The fundraising money pays for all the things Playgroup need that the fees don’t cover and we are able to provide some wonderful resources which they would not have otherwise
New Fundraising Chair – Rachel
Hi, my name is Rachel Ogier and I took over the role of Fundraising Chair from Sam West. My sons Nate & Charlie have attended playgroup and thoroughly enjoyed it. I used to be a Pensions Manager in London, but became a full time mum when I realised a 15 month age gap would actually be quite hard work!
At the moment I am organising Bengeo playgroup’s 2012 Spring Fun Day, which will be held on Saturday 26th May. I will be in need of help from as many of you as possible on the day to help set up, run stalls, clear up etc!!
