PLAYGROUP LEADER REQUIRED

We are looking for a caring, self-motivated person who loves working with children to lead our friendly team and manage our busy Playgroup. You will be responsible for ensuring the Playgroup meets the highest standards and offers the best experience for both children and families. The role encompasses the delivery of the EYFS, the management and development of a small team and the role of Key Person to a small group of children.  Details of the job description are available online.

Requirements:

  • Early Years Professional Status, or working towards a degree is desirable
  • a minimum QCF Level 3 in Children’s and Young Peoples Workforce, or equivalent
  • a minimum of at least two years working as a Deputy or supervisor in an early years setting

PART TIME ADMINISTRATOR REQUIRED

Are you organised? Can you work on your own initiative and prioritise a busy workload? Do you have experience in bookkeeping, payroll and budgeting? Then we need you!

We are looking for someone to manage the finances and administration for our busy Playgroup. Working in partnership with the Committee Chairperson and Playgroup Leader, your main responsibilities will include admissions, the accounts and payroll as well as dealing with day to day general enquiries.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Experience in bookkeeping, payroll and budgeting
  • Computer literate with a full working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work on own initiative and organise own workload
  • Ability to communicate and maintain friendly relationships with fathers/mothers/carers, the Management Committee, staff and Bengeo Primary School
